Vanity Fair

SKCTCH BY

GOING DOWN

One of the horrors of the late war was the increase in price of your favourite magazine. Paper and manufacturing costs shot up like an express elevator in a skyscraper. Vanity Fair followed a few stages in a local car. Now our old friend, Cost of Living, seems to be tiring a little of the rarefied atmosphere. Paper has descended a number of stories; manufacturing costs are getting ready to ring the "Down" bell. So—now it can be told—Vanity Fair is down to the ground floor again. Three dollars a year. Hurrah for normalcy!
