Cool Daddy-o

This preened princess used to be picked up by Jack Nicholson on a motorcycle. But her mother wouldn't let her see him riding in Easy Rider: too violent, too sexual. Jennifer Nicholson, Jack's only child (by his only wife, Sandra Knight), also vacationed with him on location for The Shining. "My dad was really weird then," she says. "It was like Christmas with an ax murderer." A Santa Monica resident with a fine-arts degree from U.S.C., Jennifer is now building sets for a horror movie in Georgia—away from her boyfriend of one year, model Jay Jarvis, right. What has she inherited from her droll father? "My sense of humor," she says, "and my nose."
