Kenny Scharf's vision of Jetsonesque purgatory and the Brooklyn Academy of Music may not seem to have all that much in common. But this month Parasol Press publishes a limitededition portfolio of prints by eight artists (Salle, Schnabel, Clemente, Lichtenstein, Bartlett, Sultan, Winters, and Scharf) to fill BAM's coffers and help make possible more works like this fall's much-anticipated production of Peter Brook's The Mahabharata. Considering that prints by most of the artists can sell for well over $5,000 each, the portfolio, even at $20,000, is a bargain.
