Marissa in Wonderland

The only thing missing at Marissa Bregman's fourthbirthday party was the Dormouse in the teapot. Otherwise the Park Avenue pad of her parents, Cornelia (Serpico) Sharpe and Marty (Scarface) Bregman, was transformed into Alice's teatime Wonderland. Alexander Jones (son of Foreigner's Mick) grinned like the Cheshire Cat at Patty Hearst Shaw's daughter Gillian, who watched Marissa and Sophie Sackler (as in the Met's Sackler Wing) eat heart, club, spade, and diamond sandwiches. Moms and dads went as mad as hatters, trying to keep everything under control. And no one, not even the White Rabbit, came late.
