Andereon Rising

Kevin Anderson is a High Plains drifter with a dreamboat smile. Since arriving in New York four years ago as the hyperkinetic kid in Orphans, the Chicago-bred Steppenwolfer has gone on to play an assortment of outlaws and oddballs, but only in the recent film Miles from Home have audiences gotten a chance to glimpse Kevin Anderson the heartthrob. When Peter Hall's production of Tennessee Williams's Orpheus Descending arrives on Broadway this month, the twenty-nine-year-old actor may remedy that. Starring opposite Vanessa Redgrave, Anderson plays a handsome musician with a mysterious past—the loner meets the crooner.
