GETTING HITCHED IN HORSE COUNTRY

• When Henryk de Kwiatkowski married Barbara Allen after an eight-year courtship (and the birth of Nicholas Alexei last year), people flew in to the Greenwich, Connecticut, horse farm from all over: Bryan and Lucy Ferry from London; Jerry Zipkin from New Orleans; Maria Goulandris from Paris; exotic dancers from Brazil. The ceremony, with the bride in yellow Carolina Herrera, was watched by some of the groom's polo ponies in a nearby paddock. The draped tent for the dinner dance was awash with champagne and tango roses from Helena Lehane, the rising social florist. And perhaps the best thing about the whole romantic occasion was that, despite the presence of half the Factory cast from the bride's past, it was nothing like a day in Andy Warhol's diaries.
