V.F. Camera
Neither freezing rain, nor snow, nor sleet, nor hail (nor earthquakes) kept these New Yorkers from their ap pointed rounds this winter. From the Council of Fashion Designers of
America Awards at Lincoln Center to the Seventh Regiment Armory's anal nual Winter Antiques Show to a Bloomingdale's book party, revelers went undeterred. Clockwise from near left, at the C.F.D.A. Awards, Barneys co-president Gene Pressman gets a hug from Gabriella Forte; Kelly Klein captures the moment for posterity with her ubiquitous Olympus O-Product camera; Calvin Klein, who received awards for best designer of the year for women's wear and men's wear, is congratulated by wife Kelly, Arthur Liman (left), and David Geffen; k. d. lang chats with Richard Tyler before presenting him with a new-talent award. At left, the antiques-show goers included Henry Kravis and Marie-Jos^e Drouin, fresh from celebrating his 50th birthday in Paris, and Mollie Wilmot, taking a break from the Palm Beach scene. And, right, at the party honoring Shirley Lord and her new book, My Sister's Keeper (Crown), the author's husband, New York Times columnist Abe Rosenthal, is not oblivious to the charms of New York City First Lady and Food TV anchor Donna Hanover Giuliani; hairdresser and fan Stephen Knoll greets the author herself.
