Master of ceremonies Nicky Haslam celebrated 25 years of his interior-design house, NH Design, and honored his dear friend Janet de Botton with an international coterie at his ancestral home, Parkstead House, in Roehampton, London, on October 16. An intimate dinner for 60 people was served in the Ponsonby and Bessborough rooms. The fete grew larger at 10 P.M., when a steady stream of guests, outfitted in black, violet, and silver—the dress code—arrived for cocktails and dancing until dawn.
