Trey Parker and Matt Stone, creators of the award-winning animated series South Park (which begins its 15th season in April), will make their Broadway debut this month with The Book of Mormon. The musical comedy, about two Mormon missionaries in Uganda, was inspired by friends Stone and Parker grew up with in Colorado. The show, at the Eugene O'Neill Theatre, was written by Stone, Parker, and Tony Award winner Robert Lopez (.Avenue Q).
