In 1993, Japanese designer Issey Miyake launched Pleats Please—a ready-to-wear collection showcasing fluid lines, vibrant colors, theatrical shapes, and signature pleats that sparked an international fashion movement with a decades-long ripple effect. This spring, for the line's 20th anniversary, Miyake translates that spirited aesthetic into his first fashion-inspired fragrance. Pleats Please Eau de Toilette features notes of nashi, fresh peonies, sweet pea, and white vanilla, in a geometric, glass-paneled bottle (inspired by his graphic Bao Bao bag), with perfectly balanced accents that are sure to launch another sensational movement.
