This year's Vanity Fair Oscar party, held at the Sunset Tower Hotel, in West Hollywood, pulsed with a constant flash of Oscar statues, award-winning actors, captains of industry, tech wizards, starlets, fashion darlings, and N.B.A. superstars. The In-n-Out truck rivaled the banquettes as the place to be. As ever, it was an evening of palpable power and extraordinary glamour.
