Gray has been the signature shade of Christian Dior since the fashion house launched its first haute couture collection, in 1947.

As a nod to its heritage, Dior perfumer Francois Demachy has translated the brand's emblematic color into a subtle scent: Gris Montaigne. The 14th fragrance in La Collection Privee, it features a combination of Calabria bergamot, Turkish rose, sambac jasmine, and Indonesian patchouli that, like its versatile "Gris Couture" color, can be worn with anything.
