Inspired by a childhood memory of walking in Normandy near the sea, Christiane Gautrot, one of the founders of the Parisian perfumer Diptyque, desired a scent featuring apple blossoms, coffee beans, and the sea breeze. Taking visual cues from photographer Terri Weifenbach's whimsical book Lana, the brand's creative director, Myriam Badault, and perfumer Fabrice Pellegrin brought Gautrot's dream to life with the fragrant Florabellio, out this month.
