THE OTHER ROYALS

Admittedly, most of the oxygen in the rarefied royal atmosphere is inhaled by the House of Windsor. But other countries have princesses, too. Here, six of the newer jet-set members of the modern monarchy

Charlotte Casiraghi

COUNTRY: Monaco

PARENTS: Caroline, Princess of Hanover;

Casiraghi, 30, is the official equestrian ambassador for Gucci. (The house's famous floral print was born as a headscarf for Princess Grace.)

It's a perfect fit given Casiraghi's own passion for horses and show jumping: "It's one of the only sports that is completely equal between men and women," she says. She is in a relationship with Italian film director Lamberto Sanfelice.

Princess Maria-Olyinpia

Princess Marie Chantal Miller RELATIVES: Prince of Wales (cousin and godfather)

Princess Olympia, 20, is the daughter of Marie Chantal, the CEO and founder of the children's apparel line Marie-Chantal. Born in New York City in 1996 and raised in London, she is now enrolled at New York University: "My mother works every day.

If she can do it, so can I."

H.R.H. Princess Charlotte de Bourbon-Parme, 23, was accompanied by her brother,

Princesse Melusine Ruspoli

Now 22 and a face of Salvatore Ferragamo's Fiamma campaign, she was photographed with Marquis Giorgio Sanjust di Teulada at the 2013 edition of the Paris Bal des Debutantes.
