Actresses playing lauyers have always tried not to look too glamorous. Many resort to dourness (Susan Dey in L.A. Lawj, while others do like Portia and go for the men'swear look. Some, like Kelly McGillis in The Accused, seem to think that dressing well is antithetical to defending well. Appearing nude in much of the upcoming Wild Orchid, cover girl Carre Otis—cast as a lauyer—will have to rely on something other than dowdiness to look cerebral. Cellulite implants, perhaps?
