Miuccia Prada, whose fashion house is synonymous with chic minimalism, takes a turn toward excess with her latest scent, Candy, an alluring cocktail of silky white musks, balsamy benzoin, and caramel. For the campaign, Prada sought a decidedly French twist, enlisting the visionary director and photographer Jean-Paul Goude and actress Lea Seydoux to collaborate on a provocative television short inspired by the passionate, early-20th-century apache dance, named for the Parisian street gangs who first performed it.
