The quest for the perfect shirt is a passion for Alexander Drexler, whose label, Alex Mill—a name that represents both quality and value—has just debuted at Drexler's new boutique, in N.Y.C.'s Nolita. (The line is also sold at Barneys.) "Despite all the options out there," says Drexler, "it was still hard to find the perfect shirt with the right fit, the right fabric." Determined to define a single, versatile cut that looks as good with a blazer as it does with swim trunks, Drexler positioned the Alex Mill shirt for men of any age. "I find that the coolest clothes out there can work for a range of guys. That's something I've learned from my father"—Alexander's father is J. Crew C.E.O. Mickey Drexler. Alex Mill's debut line will also include clothes for boys as echoed by the collection's tagline, "Like Father, Like Son." (alex-mill.com) —HAMISH ROBERTSON
