Taking its name from a Jean-Michel Basquiat drawing, Sticky Mike's Frog Bar is the lesser-known annex to the Time Cafe, New York's new, ecologically correct restaurant designed by Eric Goode and Serge Becker. "We envision it as what the club scene needs in the nineties," says co-owner Berns Fry. "A neighborhood bar with a dance floor—minus

the door drama. ' ' Or, as manager Dominic Chianese says, 'I want this to be where club dinosaurs and young fossils can look for new bones. " It will also do its bit on the eco front, or as much as a bar can do: cigarettes will not be sold. And by eschewing theme nights for the unaffected fun of just being out, Sticky Mike's may set a trend in nonclubs.
