The coral reef is a paradox of time, as its life-forms continually give way to something new. Like the underwater ecosystem, Fendi is looking to its past to move forward. The Italian fashion house's Baguette bag features a red coral be dana motif in beadwork over white leather, reminiscent of the fantastical themes of Histoire d'Eau, the 1977 short film that presented Karl Lagerfeld's first ready-to-wear collection for Fendi. This one is sure to make a splash.
