First came SoHo, then the East Village; now New York's peripatetic art scene is moving to lower Broadway (LoBro), where the rents are cheap and the spaces are colossal. Among the score of gallerists who have already relocated there is John Good, former manager of Leo Castelli's Greene Street gallery and champion of a group of artists—Moira Dryer, David Row, Ellen Carey, Christopher Lucas—who have seen beyond Neo Geo's basketballs, fishtanks, and corporate logos. "John is one of the few young dealers to actually find new artists instead of trying to get artists that are already well known, " says Goods former boss, who also happens to be opening his new branch in this latest art-world hot spot.
